VMC operator • Yakima County, Washington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Yakima County, Washington. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters You will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines.
