Domestic gas engineer — Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Jackson County, Indiana. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
