Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Marion County, Texas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
