Panel welder — Cassia County

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Cassia County, Idaho. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
