Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Kane County, Utah. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
