Now hiring: foundry labourer (Delta State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Aniocha South, Delta State. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Rotating shifts.
