Packing operator — Highland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packing operator in Highland County, Virginia. You will load and unload materials onto the conveyor belt; operate and feed production machines on the line; weigh, measure and label raw materials before each batch; read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs); carry out in-line quality checks and reject defective pieces; change over tooling and settings between product runs. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for a full 8 to 12 hour shift • Basic reading skills to follow SOPs and labels • Experience on a manufacturing or assembly line Full-time with occasional weekends.
