Glazier — Winnebago County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glazier in Winnebago County, Iowa. Requirements: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves The role involves grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
