Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Clarke County, Iowa. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
