Structural MIG welder — Clayton County

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Clayton County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
