Insulation worker — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an insulation worker in Grant County, Kentucky. You will be based in lofts and crawl spaces. What we are looking for: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience.
