Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
