Ladle pourer — Moody County

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Moody County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
