Groundsman • Richland County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Richland County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
