Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Minjibir, Kano State. On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day ₦9,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
