Immediate opening: road roller operator (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; check for underground cables and services before digging. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Full-time, day shift. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
