Crane rigger — Stafford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Stafford County, Kansas. You will work at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time, day shift.
