Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Summit County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Six days a week, one day off.
