Groundskeeper • Cocke County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Cocke County, Tennessee. You will work in a residential garden complex. On the job you will handle: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
