Immediate opening: single needle operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
