Vacancy available: lift installation engineer (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Hertfordshire, England. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
