Quality control inspector — Charlotte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Charlotte County, Virginia. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
