Moulder — Huerfano County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Huerfano County, Colorado. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Full-time, day shift.
