Lift mechanic — Milam County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Milam County, Texas. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Rotating shifts.
