Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Franklin County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
