Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Cass County, Iowa. The job is on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
