Paint booth operator — Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Lake County, California. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. You should have: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process You will keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
