Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Madison County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
