Immediate opening: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Floyd County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day The role involves: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
