Bulldozer operator — Ripley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Ripley County, Indiana. You will be based at a land-clearing site. On the job you will handle: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
