Pipe TIG welder — Ejigbo

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Ejigbo, Osun State. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
