Falsework carpenter wanted in Dundee City

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Dundee City, Scotland. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £1,750 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
