The role involves carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience.
