House painter — Ontonagon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a house painter in Ontonagon County, Michigan. You will be based in a factory paint shop. Your main tasks: • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer You should have: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator Overtime paid at a premium rate.
