Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Story County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Story County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Rotating shifts.
