Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster The role involves: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Full-time with occasional weekends.
