Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel painter in Alpena County, Michigan. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing On the job you will handle: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels 5+ years on the tools preferred.
