We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Drew County, Arkansas. The job is at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
