Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Smith County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 2+ years on the tools preferred.
