Port container crane operator — Iron County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Iron County, Wisconsin. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
