Steel fixer — Waller County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Waller County, Texas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
