Kitchen porter — Halifax County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Halifax County, Virginia. You should have: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred The role involves keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift.
