Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Isles of Scilly, England. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
