Ironing operator — Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Putnam County, Georgia. You will work at a textile finishing unit. You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
