Press machine operator — Newton County

Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Newton County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy press shop. The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Rotating shifts.
