Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Franklin County, Nebraska. The job is at an auto components factory. Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
