Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Orange County, Vermont. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work Day to day you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports.
