Immediate opening: brick mason (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Llano County, Texas. You will work on a busy housing site. You will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred.
