You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves run first-off inspection and sign off the part; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed.
