Urgent requirement: commis chef (Nebraska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Sheridan County, Nebraska. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Day-to-day duties: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency Full-time, day shift.
